Does anyone know if the ofsted report has been done? Is there any hope of getting state funding for the dharma school? Frank Walsh (1962) (talk) 13:44, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge to settlement page

[edit]

This page has been tagged as unreferenced for five years. There is no indication of notability that would override the general policy that primary schools are non-notable. It can be covered at the local settlement page.--Charles (talk) 09:45, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

(1) MERGE (and AfD and everything else that involves the removal of content) is not CLEANUP. If it needs to be improved, it needs to be improved. Not removed. (2) Unless something has changed about which I'm not aware, there is NO general policy that primary schools are non-notable. ˜danjel [ talk | contribs ] 09:48, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This a somewhat unusual primary school as it is the only Buddhist school in Europe. "Notability" is determined by the availability of sources not by the type of school. Lack of references is not a reason for a merge. Dahliarose (talk) 13:51, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The burden of proof is on editors adding material to provide sources. This has been tagged for five years.--Charles (talk) 17:00, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
A quick search yielded a high-quality source from the BBC website which I've now added. The article is already sourced from two books. No doubt there will be many other sources available when editors have more time to investigate. Wikipedia is a work in progress. There is no requirement that articles have to be completed or fully referenced within any given timeframe. Dahliarose (talk) 17:49, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
