Chart

Dozens of pages on the internet say that this album "hit the Top 40 Album Chart and is cosidered the first ever comedy concept album" (sic). If this is a true and accurate transcription of this, the album at least hit number 56 in the US Billboard charts. "Masterpiece?"

I've heard this album. It is NOT funny, the audience is NOT responding well to Clay's jokes, Clay himself sounds high or drunk or both and is not at his best at all. I'd like to see a citation on the claim that this album was received as well as this page claims, because when I listened to this it sounded absolutely painful, like the last gasps of a comedian whose career is declining, and everyone around him knows it except for him. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.91.27.50 (talk) 21:39, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Then clearly you aren't appreciating it on the level it's meant to the appreciated on. It's one of the most enjoyable listening experiences if you know what you're doing.
