Film / Book - Two diff articles?

Any reason that we don't want to start a distinct article for the film? KConWiki (talk) 20:41, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is a separate article for the film, now linked under Adaptations. The infobox for the 1991 film is moved to that article and proper infobox book is set up for the novel. Can someone find the cover image for the novel and include it in the infobox? I do not know how to do that little task. I have not yet read this book, so if someone who has read it can fill in the plot summary, list of characters, reviews, allusions, that would be great. --Prairieplant (talk) 03:33, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Now I have read the book, put up a summary for the novel, list of characters, some reviews of the novel, and allusions to real places and people. I never saw the film, so it would be good if someone who has seen it and also read the book can summarize the differences in plot for the adaptation compared to the novel. Unlike Kirkus Reviews, I was pleased that the suspense and pace were not so intense as the novel before this one. Many were killed by murder, but there is more conversation and introspection to follow the gathering of evidence, up to the crisis, and learn about Hopis along the way. --Prairieplant (talk) 18:59, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
