Dating discrepancy
[edit]I'm reading Blandings Castle and Elsewhere (Autograph Edition published by Jenkins in 1957) and "The Custody of the Pumpkin" contains the following on p. 23:
I am a firm believer in President Roosevelt and the New Deal. Under the New Deal, the American dog is beginning to eat more biscuits
The article gives initial publication dates for 1924 and that doesn't quite jibe with the New Deal references. Was the New Deal stuff perhaps a later addition to the story? Modal Jig (talk) 18:19, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
