Tropical house as a genre

[edit]

Should we add [tropical house] to the genre list or should it be listed as an influence? I found two articles/reviews that take note of the tropical house influences in the song, one from Slant Magazine[1] and another from Huffington Post.[2] Wiki philip (talk) 05:18, 18 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Wiki philip: - definitely as an influence, I'd say. --Jennica / talk 05:52, 18 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

References

It is NOT tropical house. Go on Spotify and listen to a tropical house playlist - The Cure does not fit that category Riordanpett (talk) 21:55, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In the first line, the last name mentioned for co-writers should be changed from "Nick" to "Mark Nilan". Nick Monson is already mentioned as the second co-writer in the list.

"The Cure" is a song recorded by American singer and songwriter Lady Gaga. She co-wrote the song with Paul Blair, Nick Monson, Lukas Nelson, and Mark Nilan. 69.75.37.178 (talk) 20:37, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information on Live Performances

[edit]

This article should include information about Gaga's performance of the song on the Joanne tour and relevant critical reviews before it is passed as a GA as that is pretty significant information missing from the article. Aoba47 (talk) 18:38, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Aoba47: thanks for the concern. The live performance of Joanne World Tour will be added once I start working on the GA review. The Coachella performance is already included as part of the release and promotion. There was nothing critical about the performance itself since reviewers were more focused on the song release, so that's how its documented. —IB [ Poke ] 06:42, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Peak Spain

[edit]

I changed the peak of Spain because The Cure peaked in 57, no 4. The reference is the same since the source provided already stated that her peak was 57, the correction was made in order to make the information match the source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by X2franklop (talkcontribs) 16:40, 29 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
