Fake?
[edit]A bunch of the JK Rowling and HP news sites are now retracting their articles because it was faked/hoaxed that Robert G. was JK Rowling just to get publicity. JK Rowling's publicist confirmed and issued a statement tonight.
- as of now (14.07.2013, 07:41), both the BBC and The Independent maintained the stories, It also appeared on BBC Radio news bulletins. [1] [2] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.45.156.90 (talk) 06:42, 14 July 2013 (UTC)
Reviews
[edit]Collection of reviews:
"Pre-reveal" (April - 13 July 2013)
Post-13 July
- Pre and post is a great idea, why doesn't the reviews section split everything up into pre and post? 125.253.96.160 (talk) 04:23, 19 July 2013 (UTC)
Print Runs
[edit]The entry only refers to initial sales of 1,500 copies. I have tried to find information on the initial print run, but to no avail. When I contacted the publishers, they replied saying that they would not give out the figure. Hence, how many copies of the first printing there are will remain a mystery. Date Rowling Revealed as Author
[edit]'Authorship' says 13 July 2013; 'Sales and Reception' says 14 July 2013. What is correct date? American In Brazil (talk) 00:38, 19 July 2013 (UTC)
- The Sunday Times article is dated 14 July, but the reference in this entry is to a Daily Telegraph online article dated 13 July. As the Sunday papers are edited early, it appears that the Daily Telegraph reported on the revelation that day. I have amended the entry accordingly to reflect the Sunday Times date of 14 July, while acknowledging the earlier reporting. WoodyJoe (talk) 15:02, 19 July 2013 (UTC)
Cover
[edit]The cover currently shown does not match the cover found on the dust wrapper of the first printing, which features a quote by Val McDermid. The back cover features quotes by Mark Billingham and Alex Gray. Can someone find a high resolution image of the actual cover? WoodyJoe (talk) 15:07, 19 July 2013 (UTC)
- I have just provided such an image which was the first I could find without pixelation in a Google image search.Tk420 (talk) 12:28, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
Sequel
[edit]The information contained in the live sequel section is both out of date and incomplete. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.247.52.27 (talk) 04:45, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
