Shakespearean overtones

[edit]

The commentary on the DVD by Rainn Wilson and others mentions a Shakespearean undertone. I don't think the M'n'Ms intentionally references the lieutenant show quite as much as the typical shakespearean test in Macbeth, which the show's cast make constant reference to? The dark mood of Michael could probably be noted as well.

It's all there, Angela as Lady Macbeth? Dwight as Macbeth? Michael as Macduff?

  • Intro: I would add air date
  • Intro: Add acts after characters
  • Intro: Call of Duty should be italicized
  • Intro: Maybe link Stamford
  • Plot: "he makes a reference to Entourage" Is this supported by a cite?
  • Production: Maybe explain in a nutshell what Lady MacBeth did and how Angela was acting like that. It'd be cool if you put a free image of Lady MacBeth in the section too.
  • Production: Link some of the character names, like Creed and Meredith, etc.
  • References: Use consistent dating methods.

That's all the issues I can find. Images are good, and formatting is good. On hold.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 22:11, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've made all the fixes. Good idea about Lady Macbeth -- let me know how the edits turned out! Ruby 2010/2013 00:13, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent. It all looks great. I moved the Lady MacBeth pic just so there isn't a huge white space, but other than that, looks good. I pass.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 19:01, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
