Lyrics
[edit]As I remember it, the original fight song went:
Come all loyal cougars and raise your challenge to the foe
We will fight, day or night, rain or snow.
Stalwart men and true, wear the white and blue
As we sing, get set to spring
C'mon Cougars it's up to you.
So rise and shout, the Cougars are out
Along the trail to fame and glory
Rise and shout, our cheers will ring out
As you unfold your victor's story
On we go to vanquish the foe
for Alma Matter's sons and daughters
As we join in song
in praise of you
our faith is strong
We'll raise our colors high in the Blue
and cheer our Cougars of BYU.
Go, Go, Go, Go, Go, Go..........Cougars.
I personally like the old version better than the new...it just flows better. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.94.97.2 (talk) 18:15, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
- Interesting. Do you have a source for it? That would be good potential to include in a "Original lyrics" section, as long as no one objects/deems it unnecessary. 67.182.237.57 (talk) 01:05, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
