The Corporation (band) → The Corporation (English band) – Move proposal submitted in order to clearly distinguish between two rock bands with the same name, one an English band (active mostly in the 1980s) and the other an American one (active mostly in the 1960s). This move seems unnecessary. The Corporation (record production team) was not a band and is extremely unlikely to be confused as one. older ≠ wiser 13:23, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- Please note that the target entry is not the one about the well known production team but about the eponymous American rock group. -The Gnome (talk) 14:28, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- I see, the American band was not listed on the disambiguation page. I just added it. older ≠ wiser 14:37, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- I do not believe it is appropriate to have one group listed with "(band)" and the other with "(American band)", especially since there is no discernible difference between their respective levels of notability. -The Gnome (talk) 14:44, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- I agree. older ≠ wiser 14:48, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
