A Rough Timeframe
[edit]Research says that this story took place in the 1800s to early 1900s. This is based on the illustrations of the composer himself. He appears to have curly, gray hair, the common style for men in that time period. He also is writing with ink and a feather quill, while feather quills became uncommon in the mid-1900s. This is not the only evidence provided, however, most proof is the fashion shown in various illustrations.
