Tracklist template versus custom table with extra information
[edit]As no one is actively editing this list of 814 songs, I'm going to revert Disc 1 to the standard template. Unless there is a consensus dictating other wise, we'll use the titlen, lyricsn, musicn, lengthn and extran parameters for columns, with extran will be set to "Original LP issue." Dominic
[edit]As I'm editing as an IP and sometimes IP edits are reverted without cause, I added the first release of "Dominic" to the list. It first appeared on the Double Features: Kissin' Cousins/Clambake/Stay Away, Joe CD that came out in the 1990s. I'm assuming we're not restricted to just listing releases during Presley's lifetime. 68.146.52.234 (talk) 13:13, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
Original releases on Disc 1
[edit]there it is mentioned, that it spans from 1954-1956 but I'm wondering, that it starts immediately with the first Song from 1976 (Harbour Lights), also Track 6 (Tomorrow Night) don't fit in this Scheme with "1965" - as next I saw Track 19 (When it rains, it realy pours) from A legendary Performer in 1983 - are this informations really correct? -- 62.216.207.222 (talk) 17:03, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
- I cannot say whether the information is correct, but the explanation would seem to be that 1954–1956 is the period during which the songs were originally recorded and that 1976, 1965, and 1983 were the years in which these recordings were first commercially released. Thus, there is no contradiction here (which seems to be what you're implying). - dcljr (talk) 23:34, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
