What is meant by 'Christian'?

"The Christian School (Takeley) was founded [...] to provide a Christian education, fostering Christian faith and values."

Can you go there if you're not a Christian? Are you permitted to stay if you lose your faith halfway through? What about staff? Is creationism taught in science lessons? Do they "teach the controversy"? Are there disciplinary consequences for children known to be homosexual? Is petty theft tolerated? [1] [2] What is the policy on girls praying with uncovered heads? [3] I'm very interested to know how the school deals with the challenges of conducting itself according to Christian teachings, so some information on this should go in the article. Thanks.
