Reviewer: Malleus Fatuorum 19:31, 30 October 2009 (UTC) To uphold the quality of Wikipedia:Good articles, all articles listed as Good articles are being reviewed against the GA criteria as part of the GA project quality task force. While all the hard work that has gone into this article is appreciated, unfortunately, as of October 30, 2009, this article fails to satisfy the criteria, as detailed below. For that reason, the article has been delisted from WP:GA. However, if improvements are made bringing the article up to standards, the article may be nominated at WP:GAN. If you feel this decision has been made in error, you may seek remediation at WP:GAR. The major problem with this article is that it tells me very little about its supposed topic, this film. The lead tells me that a soundtrack was added, but nowhere does it say what was on the soundtrack. Narrative? Commentary? Music? Who wrote it? There's also no information on the production of the film. What did the film take at the box office?[reply]

Lead
  • "Current releases of the compilation on DVD ...". When was the DVD released? In which countries? Have there been earlier releases than the "current" one? If not, then why "current releases"? Was the DVD well received?
Background
  • "Unfortunately for Chaplin though, he fell victim to McCarthyism ...". Need to avoid expressing an opinion on whether it was fortunate or unfortunate, just state the facts.
  • "The idea of reviving his role as The Tramp for modern audiences was entertained." Strange phrasing. By whom?
  • The last half of the first paragraph, discussing Agee's abortive script, seems to have nothing to do with this film.
References
  • I'm concerned about the reliability of some of the sources, particularly clown-ministry.com and IMDb, which is half of the 4 sources used.
