[edit]I have gathered as much as I can about the Channel any more input would be great - Feel free to mark this all up and add comments. List of Bands that played there or any photos would be key MC
I tried to clean up a bit - I added a list of bands - removed the band links that I had in the article.
Still need to clean up the language a bit and need a list of more bands. MC .

I did a pretty major overhaul on the content, correcting and adding infor about the club's layout, as well as expanding the types of bands that played there. I worked there from late 1984 to sometime in 1987, first as a bouncer, eventually becoming the floor manager.

Thanks T great work I was just an obnoxious teen in those years so my memory is a bit hazy - I cleaned up a few of your links for you. I noticed your bouncer changes, those comments were done on hearsay so I accept you statement. I rightly got 'gently' tossed out a few times. Most notably during the cramps show. But I managed to work my way back in. MC
-- Thank you, everyone who worked on this page. Any chance the dates could be included in the Notable Acts list? Probably not feasible, but I thought I'd ask. Like MC, my memory of those days is pretty hazy.Rosekelleher (talk) 17:12, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
Jerry Lee Lewis
[edit]He isn't included. Saw him at The Channel in either 1986 or 1987. There is a list of all gigs he did available online. Can't be bothered to trawl through. If anyone does, hats off. Hanoi Road (talk) 01:40, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
