References to Cardinal Cody removed

A previous version of this page mentioned the scandals alledged to surround Cardinal John Cody. Presumably the implication was that Cody was the model for the Cardinal character in Greeley's book: however, no attempt was made to link the character in the novel to Cody, and no scholarly evidence was cited to say why this should be so. I have deleted the paragraphs relating to Cody' and Greeley's own careers - they should only be included on this page with a full explanation, without resorting to implication and innuendo. --Justificatus (talk) 19:05, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
