Disambiguation page
[edit]There should be a disambiguation page instead, given that there are books with this exact title now by popular authors such as Robert Kiyosaki and Johan Norberg that are both more recent and have been bestsellers in their own right. Should I create that? Iljhgtn (talk) 13:16, 24 October 2023 (UTC)

- The Capitalist Manifesto → The Capitalist Manifesto (1958 book)
- The Capitalist Manifesto (disambiguation) → The Capitalist Manifesto
– Now that it is clear that there are both other books named "The Capitalist Manifesto" and that there are current articles with that title, I am requesting that a controversial move be made of The Capitalist Manifesto to redirect to The Capitalist Manifesto (disambiguation) and that this current article content instead be moved to The Capitalist Manifesto (1958 book) to clearly disambiguate between these similarly named books. Also more articles are coming as well regarding the Kiyosaki book, but this solves that problem too. Iljhgtn (talk) 01:27, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
- wait i am not sure the above request go it right. i am requestion that the current "The Capitalist Manifesto" redirect to "The Capitalist Manifesto (disambiguation page)" and not the other way around. The arrows above seem to confuse me on that? Iljhgtn (talk) 01:37, 1 December 2023 (UTC)

- @Iljhgtn: Was there a WP:cut-paste move? It looks like The Capitalist Manifesto: Why the Global Free Market Will Save the World was just created a few hours ago, but the edit summary indicates that there was a previous version. — BarrelProof (talk) 03:22, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
- i wrote that article, i had maybe worked on it previously and made a draft. i forget. Iljhgtn (talk) 03:24, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
- How could you forget? It was created only a few hours ago. — BarrelProof (talk) 03:27, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
- no i mean i originally may have started on this a week or two ago i had thought. sorry. Iljhgtn (talk) 03:48, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
- all i had been trying to say for the purposes of this specific conversation was that I felt that:
- The Capitalist Manifesto (disambiguation) → The Capitalist Manifesto
- should instead be,
- The Capitalist Manifesto → The Capitalist Manifesto (disambiguation)
- Iljhgtn (talk) 03:53, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
- since multiple pages of this name should instead redirect to the disambiguation page.. that was all. if i am getting confused with some other technical or different question related to my imposing here, then i will bow out. Iljhgtn (talk) 03:53, 1 December 2023 (UTC)

- Support. The other book The Capitalist Manifesto: Why the Global Free Market Will Save the World is quite recent, but probably at least as notable as the 1958 book. It has featured in the Financial Times ([1]) and the Economist ([2]). Vpab15 (talk) 23:23, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
