Dramatic Monologue in Donne's The Canonisation.
[edit]Well, I do think that the "Dramatic Monologue" as a poetic device has its essence in Donne's poetry in general, and , in this very poem in particular.Consider the first line in the poem, " For God's sake leave me and let me love". It's a direct address to a seemingly existent listener / addressee. . Nabilfarea (talk) 03:26, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
