Trivia Note
[edit]The moment that Mrs. Petreli mentions "the butterfly effect" there is a clasp of thunder in the background. This is more than likely a reference to Ray Bradbury's 1952 short story "A Sound of Thunder", wherein a literal interpretation of the butterfly effect initiates the story's climax. Is it apt to mention this in the article, or is this more imdb fare? (Come to think of it, I should go check IMDB to see if it's there). —Preceding unsigned comment added by MukiEX (talk • contribs) 04:48, 25 September 2008 (UTC) g
Trivia
[edit]After Mohinder injects himself and meets Maya, the scene is a direct reference to the movie the Fly (1986) by Cronenberg
A dozen
[edit]Angela said a dozen (12) villains escaped level 5. I count Knox (1), Flint (2), Jesse (3), The German (4), Doyle (5), Canfield (6), Baron Samedi (7), Echo (8), Pine (9), and perhaps Maury (10). Even if she was counting Bennet (which I doubt) that's still only eleven. Where are the other one or two bad guys? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.154.187.99 (talk) 18:44, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
Requested move
[edit]The press release for the first two episodes has been sent out by NBC (it can be found here[1] and here[2]). The title for the second half of the premiere is "The Butterfly Effect." So should we move this page there, or should we keep this page, make a new page, and treat this one like its the third episode? Or should we wait until the third episode's press release shows up? --75.17.196.150 (talk) 23:53, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
