The editing and length of the film

The problem was that permission to do filming in Burma didn't come through until January 1956. When a roughly edited part 1 opened, Ichikawa was in Burma for a week filming. Of the actors Shoji Yasui alone went to Burma. I think we're getting the full movie with 116 minutes.
