Notes
[edit]I suspect there are differences between how O'Donnell spells the names of the people here, and how Germans do. --L. 20:00, 18 August 2005 (UTC)
Discrepency
[edit]# May 1-2. The breakout. The remaining members of the bunker staff escape in three separate groups, each to a different fate.
- May 2. Around noon, Russian troops first enter the bunker, finding Hentschel the sole remaining occupant.
While the majority of bunker staff escaped during that time, Hentschel was not the sole occupant as I recall, specifically I seem to recall Erna Flegel talking about the Soviets entered the bunker, and warned the remaining staff to remain inside until pockets of fighting has subsided, before bringing them aboveground.
