The Box Social is a notable, regional band from the Midwest who have been on several national tours, and have been critiqued in several publications, including, but not limited to The Onion, Hybrid Magazine, Culture Bunker, The Isthmus, Nashville Scene, Shepherd Express, Delusions Of Adequacy and more. I will be happy to provide an external links section to the group's press clippings, as well as a list of past tour dates if necessary.
- Actually, it's always necessary to provide third party evidence of notability. That said, I'm fairly sure that this does pass WP:N. Unfortunately it needs a complete rewrite badly. - superβεεcat 08:19, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
I've added a page of notable press about the group, and am currently inserting press quotes in the actual article citing their notability.
- The Onion won't qualify as a reliable source since it is a parody media. Royalbroil 21:43, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- The Onion isn't only parody media; they also do a significant amount of reasonably well-regarded reviews of music and film and suchlike. That is, serious reviews, not parodies. -FisherQueen (Talk) 23:09, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
