I'll pick this one up over the next day or so. I lie: I had more time than I thought! - SchroCat (talk) 12:59, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nicely put together and nearly all in good working order. A couple of minor points to address.

A few bits of overlinking: "1934 races.[8][9]", "Lady Margaret Boat Club.[16]" and "since the 1947 race." all need to be de-linked

Lead

  • All good – covers everything I would expect it too.

Race

  • "about a canvas-length ahead". Is there an indication of how long that is, for non-rowers?
  • "Writing in The Manchester Guardian, their rowing correspondent declared that Cambridge's crew" This reads slightly as if it is the Cambridge crew's correspondent who writes for the Grauniad. Perhaps "The rowing correspondent for The Manchester Guardian declared that Cambridge's crew..."?

The prose if in good order, as are the refs.

On hold for til the minor points are addressed. Cheers – SchroCat (talk) 13:39, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks. I've removed the overlooking I think, I've linked the canvas term to the glossary of rowing terms and I've reworded the Grauniad sentence, not entirely per your suggestion, but hopefully it still removes any ambiguity. Appreciate the review, as well as all the other things you've done to help, of course. The Rambling Man (talk) 21:07, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

All good: now passed as GA. Cheers - SchroCat (talk) 11:12, 4 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
