I removed the "Blue Comet" link which linked to the "Comet (Passenger Car)" railroad article. These are two seperate things, the Blue Comet being a famous train from New York to Atlantic City (as stated by Bobby in the episode). The Comet Passenger Cars are they type of cars used TODAY by New Jersey Transit, nothing close to what Bobby was looking at. Jimzim66 05:23, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Two possible errors
[edit]1. It is definite that the house where the "cousins from Italy" killed the Ukranian father and daughter was Phil's goomah's house? Per HBO, it was Phil's "housekeeper". 2. Are we certain that the motorcyclist was run over? He crashed, yes, but I didn't see that he was run over. --CPAScott 15:08, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- Phil's housekeeper is his comare; see Kaisha Qjuad 15:53, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
The motorcyclist was most definitely run over.206.132.102.52 15:30, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
-yes he was run over but he shouldn't be listed as dead because there is no confirmation
No confirmation he died.
The house belonged to Phil's housekeeper/comare. Her father was visiting. The cousin thought the man was Phil and the woman was his daughter, who for some reason was at the comare's.
Has anyone figured out the significance of white in this episode?
1. Burt Gervasi has white loafers when Sil kills him at his home.
2. Sil polishes his own white loafers at the Bing before he is killed.
3. Bobbys assassins wear white shoes before they kill Bobby at the Train shoppe.
4. Tony is wearing white shoes as he is emptying his pool.
5. Paulie's white shoes are shown when he's kicking in the lock on the door facing the pool at the Soprano house.
I also noticed that Paulie wore white shoes in the two episodes in Season 2 where Christopher is shot and near death.
White signifies death, as in the poem A.J. had to read for homework in the episode where Liva dies. Meadows explains the meaning to him.
I removed Silvio Dante from the Deceased list.. he is alive, but in a coma. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.242.93.253 (talk) 00:29, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Trivia
[edit]Why are trivia sections seemingly no longer allowed in Sopranos episode articles?
See WP:TRIVIA.--Nemonoman 03:33, 10 June 2007 (UTC) PS sign your messages.
- Have you actually read the trivia section? It does *not* forbid trivia, but it DOES counsel against just removing it.
My opinion on this is that if the trivial points are valid, they should be re-written to form a coherent rather than random section. Erasing them wholesale if they aren't original research or point-of-view, or unsourced, is the wrong way to go. Pablosecca 09:34, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- Except most of the time these "trivia" sections descend into indiscriminate collections of information with individuals making the most tenous connections between other episodes or the actors or observations clearly founded on their own personal viewing experience. Unless the information is clearly sourced then it simply should not be there - and it's not hard to find sources considering the large plethora of reviews around the web from various legitimate sites. Qjuad 11:30, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- Then edit the trivia section so that it doesn't become that, but don't just cut it out wholesale. And don't use so many adjectives please.
- If the trivia section becomes too bloated then chunks of it will need to be cut out; simple. It is down to the editor adding the information to source it. In addition, please sign your messages by placing four tildes at the end. Qjuad 22:08, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Sopranosbluecomet.jpg
[edit]Image:Sopranosbluecomet.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Reference to other media
[edit]Caught this one on A&E last night and I'm pretty sure there was a Metalocalypse episode playing on the TV when Tony and Carmela went to visit AJ at the ward (or maybe it was when AJ and his friend were watching TV). Not sure which episode though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.194.26.113 (talk) 04:17, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Music
[edit]How come this and Made In America have some songs listed within the production credits as opposed to separate "Music" sections that all previous episodes have? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.149.234.180 (talk) 14:19, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
Trivia / References to other media
[edit]If references to other media and songs appearing on the episode are considered trivia, it would make sense to edit them out from the articles about the episodes, just to make them consistent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.149.234.180 (talk) 13:30, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
Stuart Staples/Bobby Bacala Death Scene
[edit]What's the problem with this? The Tindersticks' music was used in several key moments during the series, and they are even featured on this episode's end credits. His video was released in early 2006; this episode came out in 2007. It's obvious if you watch the video that the death scene is inspired by the video. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.142.183.27 (talk) 14:06, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
- That is your conclusion or interpretation, not evidence. A reference source where the creators of the show state that such is the case is needed for confirmation. --TheBearPaw (talk) 10:51, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
I understand your point, but does one need to have each and every cultural reference stated as such by someone connected to the show in order to acknowledge it? The very nature of cultural references is such that they are identified by like characteristics, and not explicitly being stated as such by the creator. Does your interpretation that it's not mean that it's not, simply because you didn't get the cultural reference yourself? Does a cultural reference or allusion have no validity because you didn't know it? If such is the case, wouldn't most all of these allusions be lost on all but a handful of people?
- You are completely missing his point. References on Wikipedia have to be to reliable sources, not to your opinions. Please review WP:OR and WP:SYNTH Dlabtot (talk) 22:14, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
If I see someone stating, "I coulda been a contender," do I have to have some primary source to know where it came from, and what it is referencing? Considering that the singer's work has been featured in the series, AND his music so happens to be IN THE EPISODE in question, AND the video came out BEFORE the episode AND contains MANY of the same shots and angles of shots...is it really THAT hard to make that connection? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.142.183.27 (talk) 01:05, 18 September 2014 (UTC)
- wikipedia is based on reliable sources, not upon 'connections' made by anonymous contributors. Is this really difficult for you to understand or are you being deliberately obtuse? Dlabtot (talk) 15:41, 18 September 2014 (UTC)
