Tracklisting - sources!

The ONLY TWO confirmed songs for this album are "Disenchanted (Shut Up and Play)" and "Father". These two are confirmed by the band themselves - "Disenchanted" was played on their recent headlining tour, and "Father" was played at the 2006 SxSW music festival.

6/29: "Dead!", "This Is How I Disappear", and "Kill All Your Friends" have been confirmed as well, from an interview with Gerard at a T-Mobile Sidekick Party. Still no source for "Boy Division", so it shouldn't be included in the list.

Hold on a second. I know where the We Are the Black Parade came from, but where did "Seven Years' Bad Luck" come from? CD Amadeus 03:04, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

I added "House of Wolves" to the list. They preformed this song at Summer Sonic Tokyo, along with "Dead!"

Okay, Boy Division and Seven Years Bad Luck did not have real sources, so I deleted them. That buzznet source that was attached to them was not an official source. Basically, it copied an earlier article, falsely claimed that "The Black Parade" was the title of the album, and copied the list of songs from this Wikipedia. Until there are official sources, they can't be included. The songs that are included have a description of the source below the tracklisting. MJB12 16:48, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Whoa! Why was the tracklist deleted except for Shut Up And Play and How I Disappear? And where is the 3:28 time for Shut Up And Play coming from? MJB12 21:14, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

"How I Disappear" should be added, it has been confirmed by Kerrang magazine in more than one issue, and they have given the song an analysis. It seems pretty clear its going to be in there. They listed it as being third track, between "Dead!" and "The Sharpest" See issues 1122 for confirmation, and 1125 for track listing.

Album title

It should also be pointed out that "The Rise and Fall of My Chemical Romance" is NOT officially confirmed. The most recent interview with Gerard with AOL Music from June states that the album's title is being kept secret for now. SR GLEN: Now called The Black Parade. too bad they reinvented themselves they were good. There new songs dont compare to their 2nd albumn

The Citation for the Title

Would a scan count as a citation for Gerard saying the title "The Rise and Fall of My Chemical Romance" was NOT the official title?

Well it definatly needs something. I can't find it anywhere, and I've been looking. Orfen 00:08, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

This is scan I was refering to. Meh. It isn't mine, unfortunately. http://i6.tinypic.com/1z2d9o9.jpg CD Amadeus 07:17, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

I just say we leave the title as is for now, until it is officially announced.--MJB12 03:54, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

I think the article should be deleted for now if Gerard Way said The Rise and Fall of My Chemical Romance was never going to be the title. 65.222.216.15 03:54, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

Absolutely not, in my opinion. Considering how much is available so far on it, I say we keep it up. It ISN'T the title, true, but the fact is, it's still an album with, again, enough information to be mentioned. Just my two cents. CD Amadeus 06:24, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, why would we delete the entry if there's still plenty of information on it. If there's enough support, we can rename the article. But still, most people who would come to Wikipedia looking for information on this CD would know it under the name "The Rise and Fall..." still.--MJB12 03:05, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

"The Black Parade" - some information was released today about the possibility that the single will be called "The Black Parade", and possibly the album. But this has NOT been confirmed, so it should not be added to the confirmed tracklisting.--MJB12 05:53, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

I have read that "The Black Parade" is a band and not an album or single on the next My Chemical Romance album. Orfen 03:23, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

"The Black Parade" seems to be some fan trickery from Warner Reprise and/or the band, just like with "The Rise And Fall...". It could be a little bit of both, but it seems highly likely that it has SOMETHING to do with MCR. Also, October 24th is the official date, according to AltPress.com (Alternative Press). --MJB12 04:59, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Believe me when I say you have NO idea how crazy this hunt for TBP is. If you've ever heard of the AFI goose chase, then think of the TBP one as similar. CD Amadeus 02:06, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Black Parade

MCR is featured in the newest picture on the black parade.com website. There is still NO CONFIRMATION whatsoever if this will be the name of the single, or their new album, but it is pretty much confirmed now that The Black Parade has SOMETHING to do with MCR, we just don't know what yet. Someone keeps removing the "Unconfirmed" label from the Black Parade in the tracklisting. MJB12 05:49, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

"Welcome to the Black Parade" is the new single. It will be on the radio September 11 or 12. http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=162278 Orfen 19:18, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

It still needs an OFFICIAL source, a message board isn't official, but hell, I believe it, so in this case I see no problem with it staying on, September 11th-12th would be the expected time for the new single, just over a month before the album. Sweet!MJB12 04:30, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

With this whole TBP thing, we're lucky to find any sources. MCR isn't leaking anything either. Orfen 04:37, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I agree. It's just a waiting game. But if the single is being released in just under a month, then it won't be more than a few days probably till there's an official source. It's just because Wikipedia needs to provide facts, not rumors and hearsay. Technically this article shouldn't have any information besides the confirmed tracks and the release date. MJB12 04:54, 14

So I guess it's official...

THE BLACK PARADE will be the title of the new album. From Warner Reprise, a new video has been released featuring a heart monitor animation says THE BLACK PARADE, coming October 24th, and an email from the MCRmy (MCR sanctioned street team) officially says "The Black Parade" is coming October 24th. I guess that means the album is officially The Black Parade. I'll let someone else do the honors of changing the name. EDIT: Check out the official site, the video is posted there too. MJB12 03:28, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Done. íslenska hurikein #12 (samtal) 15:00, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
I don't know... I watched that yesterday too and I got all the emails but it still can be something else. I still don't think it's official yet though. I think that it shouldn't have had a change because no one has confirmed it. Maybe they are still just trying to make us think it is but it really isn't the real title. "The Black Parade" still has not been confirmed. The movie says it is coming October 24, and the new album comes October 24 but what if this is something completely different? I don't know but I think people are jumping to conclusions too fast. Orfen 15:37, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Ok, nevermind, Official My Chemical Romance word from the latest issue of AP: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g310/Stumpy_Patrick/My%20Chemical%20Romance/AParticle.jpg Originally posted on http://community.livejournal.com/theblackparade/ Orfen 22:21, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

There was an interview with Gerard and Mikey Way on Zane Lowe's radio show on BBC Radio 1 at 19.00(BST) 22nd August 2006. They confirmed that the title of the album is indeed, 'The Black Parade', with the first single being called 'We Are The Black Parade'.

They said the first single was "Welcome to the Black Parade". I listened to that too. Orfen 00:26, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

David Bowie

MCR is definitely paying homage to David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust era. "The Black Parade" is the band's alternate persona for this album. That David Bowie album was called "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars", and recently we learned that "The Rise and Fall of My Chemical Romance" was "a code, a joke"...get it? MJB12 03:45, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

heres a link to a video clip of them answering lots of questions about the new album and their new look [[1]]Dizzydark 16:21, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

That's an amazing interview. Pretty much answers all the vital information about the album and stuff that was kinda iffy on here. MJB12 00:36, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, it's a great interview, but whats up with just the black screen for a couple minutes at the end? Orfen 05:24, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

genre

on the page, it says its an emo album. first of all, no one knows what it sounds like, so you cant put up a genre. secondly, mcr is and has never been emo. Dizzydark 16:24, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

^Good point, Dizzydark. We will NOT be getting into a heated emo/genre argument on this page. The genre, unless officially confirmed by the band, will be decided AFTER the album comes out. MJB12 05:26, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

I have been reverting any genres for the album. Until it's oficially released I don't think anything should be decided. Orfen 16:18, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
From the several songs released and the samples. I think that it as pretty clear that this is a Rock album. 06:22, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
It was assumed before anything was released that this would be a rock album. I think we shouldn't add it still until it is officially released. It is only a few more days afterall.  Orfen User Talk 20:58, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

2006 VMA Performance

Welcome to the Black Parade" WAS played at the 2006 VMA Pre-show. That was not "Father". What "Welcome to the Black Parade" was originally thought to be was "Father". Orfen 20:20, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Track Times

Who is putting this information on here? The only thing that should even appear is "Welcome to the Black Parade", which is 5:11 (this is from TheBlackParade.com), but where are these other track times coming from? The live versions DON'T COUNT! And "Boy Division" and "Seven Years Bad Luck" have not been confirmed anywhere! Official facts only please. MJB12 02:04, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

The song on both myspace and a few other links, is 4:39, not 5:11. Dizzydark 13:40, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

On Myspace "Welcome to the Black Parade" is 5:11. Orfen 15:27, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, on theblackparade.com it counts down from 5:11 also. The radio edit version is around 4 and a half minutes, maybe that's what you were looking at. MJB12 16:00, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Song- Teenagers

I added the song Teenagers because it was mentioned in the preview of the album with My Chemical Romance.  Orfen User Talk 20:28, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Yep. They went through each song in the order they will appear on the album. "Father" is now "The End" (ironically the 1st song), "The Sharpest Lives" is now "The Sharpest", it's been shortened to just "Disenchanted". "Boy Division" originated here on Wikipedia, it was never confirmed anywhere. I think "Kill All Your Friends" is "Teenagers". I dunno about "This Is How I Disappear", they said they had 18 songs, and a lot were dropped, so we'll have to see. I think these are the 12 songs we'll be getting on October 24th. MJB12 00:01, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

So is it "Kill All Your Friends" or "Teenagers"? In the itunes special they said "Teenagers" but on every track listing I've seen it says "Kill All Your Friends." --Jude 17:26, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
now it says on amazon that it's "Teenagers" but it also says that "Mama" is "Momma."--Jude 17:29, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
It should be "Momma" and "Teenagers" for right now until the band says otherwise. I'm going off the thing that is sourced, the Kerrang article. It is official word from the band. But there is speculation that "Teenagers" used to be "Kill All Your Friends".  Orfen User Talk 20:00, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
I read somewhere, possibly on the site, that "Kill All Your Friends" was a B-side track or a bonus song on the limited edition CD rather than the original name of "Teenagers", which is on every album. Also, on the album, it lists the ninth song as being called "Mama".

Updated Track Listing

I'm not sure which to believe. Should we list the MTV listing as we have on there now? Or the one by an interview from the band itself? In that interview the song titles are Momma and I Don't Love You. This is the Kerrang article: http://web.mit.edu/~ashdavis/Public/scan0002-1.jpg  Orfen User Talk 21:22, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Leave it as "I Don't Love You" and "Mama"...I don't trust MTV.

Then it would be "Momma" since that is what has been stated.  Orfen User Talk 22:38, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Official track listing from Warner Bros. website: http://store.wbr.com/store/product.asp?upc=093624442820&type=music&mscssid=RWW11EM3BKV18PG4LJ8D9LW3FA500439  Orfen User Talk 01:06, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Ignore it. It's not correct. They were incorrect when they put Three Cheers up for pre-order too in 2004. And Warner Bros. Store isn't necessarily official. MJB12 15:49, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

here's a link to a site with the tracklisting. im not sure if its totally right, but their normally pretty accurate. [2] Dizzydark 22:54, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

I wouldn't believe that one either because they say on another page that Gerard and Bob were injured in a car crash when they were actually injured filming the video. I'd just keep what we got until official stuff gets out from the band since the Kerrang article is kind of the last thing we heard of from the band.  Orfen User Talk 23:18, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

AP has the official tracklisting :-) 141.209.236.224 00:46, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

No, they don't. Everyone has the "official" tracklisting. The song is NOT called "A Kiss Before She Goes". It specifically says don't change the tracklisting under any circumstances. MJB12 01:30, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

The 30 second clips on the Warner Bros site will open in Real Player and the correct song titles are shown, even though the links themselves are labeled incorrectly - "This is How I Disappear", "The Sharpest Lives", "Welcome to the Black Parade" and "Mama".

I seriously just wouldn't change it until it comes out. It is only 2 weeks afterall.  Orfen User Talk 23:25, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

The first song is called The End. with the period, I will fix it. Luisdile02 0:30, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

The Title

is it me, or does the titel & cover art seem baised off the book The Black March?

What me worry? - Xachna 03:51, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

Leak

Anyone know if it's actually leaked or not? I assumed it would be because MCR did a surprise event in Virgin Megastores in London where their album was on presale. We ideally need a source, just to verify the claim. I'd personally be happy just seeing the link and not putting it up for f**king pirates. Anyone agree?
 ViperBlade Talk!! 09:05, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Sure. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 14:07, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

I agree, I removed the bit about the leak yesterday, but then I reverted back to it in case I was wrong. If it leaked it hasn't spread. At all. Which would be pretty odd. 141.209.236.224 14:33, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

agree.Dizzydark 20:47, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Very odd indeed. There's no nfo for it. No mention of it anywhere. Was the album actually for sale at Virgin? (Niall Jackson 09:06, 15 October 2006 (UTC))

The album has not been leaked. What was said on here before is that they played so many of the songs live that the album could practically be put together. It's not technically leaked then, because as far as I'm aware they still haven't played them all live. What they did for these listening events and stuff is they give the stores the album that will only play on certain devices for like one or two times. So as far as I'm aware it isn't leaked because the only things recorded are their live versions and I don't think you can call that leaked.  Orfen User Talk 15:29, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm sure it is leaked somewhere though. MCR's exact myspace bulletin was

 ViperBlade Talk!! 17:45, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure how that says it is leaked. It's surprising that it's not leaked however. This is a pretty largely atticipated album and if it's not leaked yet it's just a little surprising. However what I got from that album is that it's a signing for Welcome to the Black Parade and then the presale is available Oct 23 in the UK. On eBay and everything the album and stuff on there are just sort of like preorders I think because as far as I'm aware it's not leaked and if it's not now the odds of it happening are pretty slim since there is a little more than a week left. I can see it possibly being leaked on the 23 when the UK gets it but not any sooner.  Orfen User Talk 00:12, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
The Aussies get it two days before the Brits, so I'd expect the album to be on filesharing networks by saturday at the latest, but as early as wednesday. 141.209.236.224 21:11, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Actually now I wouldn't be too surprised now because I believe some radio station is playing a new song each day in the UK. "Mama" or "Momma" was played today I believe. So it'll be fully leaked soon if it's a new song each day.  Orfen User Talk 23:34, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Hadn't heard about the ausies getting it before the brits. I knew the UK was 23rd and US 24th but not anything else :S Radio 1 has been playing some tracks from the album all over the place. Theres still a few that aren't around yet but I think this album may go all the way till release day, it shounds like it locked up very very very tight on pre-release copies, as in you put it in the pc, it ejects :S Lets hope that not the same with the actual for sale one. --Lotrgamemast 19:03, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Well, apparently the record company made all the promo discs with XCP DRM protection (prevents the disc from being read by a computer, only plays in a CD player). I'm guessing that the people who actually have the promos/advances don't know a way around the DRM protection, therefore, preventing a leak. However, there is a way to bypass the protection. All you have to do is prevent your PC from reading the data part of the disc by either coloring in or taping off (using opaque tape) the outer part of the disc (along the edge). That way, your PC is tricked into thinking that the disc only has audio files and will read it like any normal CD.

If Australia does get the album two days before the U.K then shouldnt that be noted?Kokiri kid 06:58, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

I don't think Austrailia would get the album two days early. AFAIK, all new music releases are released on Monday internationally (If you go by US time). In the US, new releases are released on the following day, Tuesday. Ender1490 01:24, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

The album has been leaked, release info on http://www.mp3shitter.com/info/id180582.html - (info site, no copyrighted content that I am aware of) Edgey 01:33, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

The hidden song "Blood"

Where did that come from?

It's listed as the 14th and hidden track in some online stores. I'm not sure if it's only on the Special Edition because I believe that's only where I seen it. I believe it's on the Warner Bros. store.  Orfen User Talk 23:32, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
I guess it's going to be the bonus track on all versions. MJB12 21:24, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
It is on both version, but not under the name Blood, just [Untitled Track]. Luisdile02 0:28, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Oddly, when i uploaded the CD to windiws media player, it said 14: {untitled track} just a stupid thought. User Zombieminion

Concept section

What are peoples views on the current format of the Concept section? At the minute its is just one long interview quote with Gerard. Any views on if this shoud be changed?--Lotrgamemast 19:45, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

I am waiting for the album to be released to change it. I want to do something similar to the Concept section of I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. It has like the song names after each part that happens in the story. We don't know the full story right now, just what Gerard told us. So until we can listen and analyze what is happening in the story I think we should just leave it how it is and fix it when the album is released.  Orfen User Talk 20:10, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Reorganised article

I've made a re-organised version of this article in my user space. I've tried to split the release information section into a few other sections to make the article more readable. I've also added a little more information in about the rumours regarding the album name and removed some useless information about Queen which doesn't need to be in the article. Feel free to make some changes to it if you find anything that is wrong. If we can agree then I think this copy should be used as it is better organised.--Lotrgamemast 20:45, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

I did what I could right now for it. I'd say it's good to go since you can always edit it or revert it back. So I'd say use it, but you did a majority of the work so do whatever you want with it. Very good job though.  Orfen User Talk 21:08, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
After Monday & Tuesday of next week when the album is finally out, the album should definitely be condensed. A lot of the information isn't too relavent. I think having pages for the individual songs other than WTTBP at this point is pretty irrelevant too, but whatever. MJB12 21:25, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
That is what I thought too, but it kept being reverted so I figured I might as well fix that up. I had to propose deletion on the Famous Last Words page because it said it was an album and an upcoming single. A lot of the stuff right now isn't relevent enough to be pages. I just think people like to say "I made this article!".  Orfen User Talk 21:28, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

I've edited the article to the new version--Lotrgamemast 22:46, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Piano

Does anyone know who did the piano on the album?

I would guess My Chemical Romance. SOADLuver 21:10, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

I mean which member of the band.

Well in concerts I've been watching on the internet Bob seems to be doing most of it, but I am unsure of who does it on the album. They may have brought in a professional for the recordings. SOADLuver 21:23, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
It's Rob Cavallo. The producer. He played keyboard for American Idiot and Gerard talked about it in a interview I think... I'm pretty sure it's Rob Cavallo the producer.  Orfen User Talk 21:25, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Yes, Rob Cavallo does the piano on the album but other people does it live. He did it bacause no one in the band could play piano.--Lotrgamemast 21:34, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Should we add to the personall section then?

I'd say wait until the album is released because I am not for sure and it'll say in the album credits so then we'll know for sure. I am pretty certain and Lotrgamemast seems pretty certain... But I'd just wait until then.  Orfen User Talk 21:36, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

in the album, im pretty sure it says rob cavallo played piano, or organ, except for blood. that was played by some one else. i cant really rember their name, but i think their last name was iero.Dizzydark 21:20, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

I have the album right in front of me right now, it says that Jamie Muhoberac played the piano on "Blood". Cheech Iero is listed as addicional percussion on "Welcome to the Black Parade".  Orfen User Talk | Contribs 22:02, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Release on the 23rd internationally?

Is that accurate? I live in Puerto Rico and it was released this Tuesday the 17th. --Luisdile02 22:12, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

It was defiantly said to be a 23rd International release and 24th for the US. Donno why you got it early.--Lotrgamemast 16:52, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
I think some stores maybe just decided to sell it early. The 23rd and 24th is accurate so I don't think it should be changed or another date be added. Because then we'd basically have to add the dates where everyone got it. Like if someone got it from the store because they work there or if someone reviews the album and got it. I think since that is what it says on the website then we should just keep it.  Orfen User Talk 18:26, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

Rock Opera?

I am not sure what would be defined as a rock opera, but as this is a very theatrical concept album could you consider this album a rock opera? It seems to be similar to Green Day's American Idiot in a way as it seems huge. There are characters and a plot. I'm not arguing about anything, I'm just asking if The Black Parade could be considered a rock opera as I am not quite sure what the requirements would be.  Orfen User Talk | Contribs 18:07, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

I suppose it could be. Dwnsjane2 18:50, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

its nothing like american idiot, in sound or concept. this one is more like a pink floyd concept or somthing. and i really dont think its very punk, or pop-punk, or whatever. but it is definatly a rock opera.Dizzydark 21:18, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, it is my opinion that this album is definately a rock opera, even though some fo the songs have nothing to do with the plotline. Casual Karma 01:59, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

There isn't a firm plotline throughout, unlike a rock opera like Tommy. Therefore, it's a concept album. --Jamdav86 17:45, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Famous Last Words as a single?

Who found out about this, and where is your proof?--Lynx Austin 08:51, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

The only proof at the moment is at http://www.billboard.com and from a Kerrang radio statement. Other than that the band themselves has not currently said.  Orfen User Talk | Contribs 20:51, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

As further confirmation, they played "Famous Last Words" On "C4 Presents...", along with "Dead!".Shamess 15:43, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Teenagers Wasn't Kill All Your Friends

Got my limited edition which contains track-by-track commentary. There's commentary for the song "Kill All Your Friends", which is listed as a B-side.Maroonraven 15:01, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Interesting. I think i'm gonna buy a limited edition off of eBay. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 11:30, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

The Observor sucks

It doesn't even sound like they ever gave the album a single chance judging from their super short review. It seemed like they just gave it a one star simply because the reviewer only likes metal music. If she hates this type of music, why did she review the album? It seems like she gave it a one star just because of the band. And the Black Parade was getting all good reviews until this one too.=( WIKI-GUY-1611:33, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Nope that review sucks so bad. I had a helf a mind to delete it fromt he list of of "profesional" reviews but i guess its from a source that just as valid as all the others.--Lotrgamemast 19:15, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
You can't delete a poor review because you like the band, because if it was a 4 or 5 star you would let it stay. It is just as valid of a source as the other reviews. Dwnsjane2 18:53, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Song Alteration Section

I would like to point out that the lyrics to "The End" have never changed. It was performed first at SxSW under the title "Father" and not again until August 22nd at Hammersmith. With the exception of the "yeahs, come ons" in the "chorus", the lyrics have always been the same. The "another contusion, my funeral track, here's my resignation, a servulant lack" is just a really bad misunderstanding of the lyrics. I removed that line from the article. MJB12 06:29, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Actually, you know what. I really dislike the whole section. The only note would be "Disenchanted". I'm pretty sure that "The Sharpest Lives" was never "A Kiss Before She Goes" - that was just a mistake in a press release from Warner. And the bit on "Disenchanted" could easily be put into an individual song page. I don't think this section belongs on the page. MJB12 06:32, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

There seems to be a continual amelioration of the negative reviews of the album. This page is meant to be a factual representation of the album/it's reception, NOT a My Chemical Romance fan site.

Limited Edition

Just curious, but does anyone know if I could find the limited edition CD at stores, such as walmart or best buy? íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 17:08, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

yeah I bought it yesterday at Best Buy but they only had a few copys near where I am (Boston)

Yea! I got it! Whoo hoo. Now I just need to find the money I was supposed to have to pay back my mom. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 00:30, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Professional Reviews

I think we need to define what we should use as "Professional" reviews. I think there is too much in there right now and it's not like I hate bad reviews but the one bad review in there right now goes to a site that no longer exists. I mean, I could write my own review, so does that make it professional? I just think we need to define what a professional review is so we can maybe shrink down the list and list some of the other ones in the Reception secion.  Orfen User Talk | Contribs 00:26, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Which one are you talking about with the "site that no longer exists?" The Observer and Aversion both work for me. This is getting to be a giant fanboy fiasco of vet the negative reviews thing, which is pretty biased.

The Observer wasn't listed when I posted my comment. Aversion now works for me. But it wasn't earlier. I apologize for not listing which one it was. I'm not trying to be biased, I'm just saying that we need to define what a professional review is and put the rest in reception. I'm just trying to not make it look messy. I don't care about the bad reviews, I'll gladly have them listed elsewhere but I feel some of the reviews might not be professional and should be left out of the infobox.  Orfen User Talk | Contribs 01:55, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Australian Release

As of today I havent seen any copies of TBP anywhere. The local stores said it will be out this Saturday. Has anybody from Australia purchased a copy, or is it just my crappy stores (because Australia should have been released on the 23rd right?) wasting my time? If it's been delayed or anything it should probably be noted.Kokiri kid 09:39, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Okay, I now know for sure it's released this Saturday which is the 28th? Should probably be mentioned in the article.Kokiri kid 15:22, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Yep. --Jamdav86 19:27, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Suggestions

The first paragraph of Influnces looks like original research. Can someone cite it? Also, the Personnel section could use more personnel, beyond just the band members. Producer, engineer, backing musicians if any, etc.

Just A Comment

I like this cd quite a bit, but my god, it's a mess. I definitely see there is a concept behind it, but it's not the best organized. The fact that there seem to be songs that are irrelevant to the plot doesn't help. This album is just schizoid. Damn good though.
