Miscellaneous
[edit]- NIP: On Ness Island Railway ... which is not on the Island, one of the locomotives on Ness Islands Minatarture is a duff(bo-bo!) ... named Uncle John ... (since 2012). An interesting contrast to the Little John Shunter on the BLR. (They do seem to swap bodyshells though from what can be made of pictures)
- COMMENT: The Oban times reported on 22 June 2017 warning of delays from Thursday 22nd June to Tuesday 4th July on the A82 due to he project filming. Likely some of the time after 1st July would have been for track and infrastructure clear up.
