I've always heard the Australian floods referred to as simply "The Wet". Reminds me of that old Rolf Harris song, "In the Wet". Exactly. Nothing to do with floods. The Big Wet is the arrival of "the monsoon season" in northern Australia. Who writes this stuff, misleading. 118.208.22.8 (talk) 21:56, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
