[edit]What to do? Keep it, or deleate it untill the episoide airs? Keyblade Mage 13:04, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Keyblade Mage
- I've reverted back to the original. That longer one was a straight copy/paste job from TV.com, blatant copyright violation.--Fyre2387 (talk • contribs) 16:36, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- Actually it was from Animation Insider and CableTVTalk, but the violstion still stands, xD. -Dylan0513 13:40, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Aye-Aye. Keyblade Mage 23:50, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Keyblade Mage
- I was wondering can you use the info you can get from Dish Network. I'm asking because it has a lot more info. Smileyface 12 91 20:19, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- If there's a link to it on the internet, then yes. -Dylan0513 21:00, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- I'll look for one Smileyface 12 91 21:06, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Trivia
[edit]I was thinking that, perhaps, we include the tidbit that this is the first time we see Aang with a full head of hair: That scene in the trailer of him waking up is, I would strongly assume from the trailer.
None too sure, so I figured I would put it here for the discussion Aang-kai 18:43, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Comics in the recent Nickelodeon magazine fit in between the seasons so I would say that we can safely write this as a fact. Aang will have hair for the first time in this episode.
Plot summery
[edit]Not that the summry isn't amazing, but were are you getting this info? I checked Animetion insider and TVguid. Why is there a link to TV Guide I didn't see anything for this episode, and I thought that it wasn't a reliable sorce any way? Smileyface 12 91 08:59, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
UPDATES, UPDATES!
[edit]Anyhow, I just finished watching the first episode of Book 3: Fire.
This is what happened as I remembered it:
Aang wakes up to find that he is on a Fire Nation ship seized by the Water Tribe. Aang discovered that the Earth King has abandoned them and became a travelling hermit along with his pet bear. After he talks with Katara, Sokka, and Toph - he discovered that he has grown hair. Angry with himself that he is not about to do much, and realizing that the Fire Nation thinks that the Avatar has died - Sokka argues that Aang is a, "secret weapon" on the day of the Lunar Eclipse.
Meanwhile, Zuko returns home to Fire Nation. He and Mai share a talk, and even shared a kiss together. Zuko looks on uncertainly, knowing that perhaps the Avata did not die as he thought while he was in the Avatar State.
Meanwhile, Aang and gang continue on their way to Fire Nation, and nearly got caught by a Fire Nation patrol ship. While boarded by the Fire Nation, Sokka's father used his disguise as a Fire Nation crew to fool them, but they weren't fooled so easily. Realizing that something is wrong, Toph uses Metalbending to destroy the Fire Nation soldiers' ability to return back to their ship. A battle ensues with Katara using waterbending to stop a series of deadly missile attacks that nearly drowned their ship. Toph was able to meanwhile stop the ship-to-ship missiles from trebucket.
Aang - after the battle, realized that he has lost his honor after a short talk with Katara and gang who wanted to disguise him so they could go into town. Aang remarked that he had always known he'll have to face the Fire Lord, but he knows he'll have to do it alone.
At the same time - Zuko meets his father whose ever so proud of his son - based on Azula's tale to her father of how it was Zuko who killed Aang, and later on in the night when Zuko asked her about it - she merely brushed it aside saying that perhaps Aang is still allive - and he'll be a fool and probably be banished again from the Fire Nation.
Simultaneously - after coming back from the shore Katara wanted to bring Aang some food only to find him gone. She desperately ran to her father telling him that the Avatar has left them, also referring to the time when her father left them to go to the war against the Fire Nation. After much sobbing and contemplation, they seek to find Aang.
At the same time, Aang is gliding through storm clouds, comes upon a blockade that surrounds the Earth Kingdom. He dives underwater and finds a floating log that he later attaches to his glider - making it a water skiier. After travelling through much of the storm, he felt that he lost. It was at this time that his predecessor - Avatar Roku appears - telling him that it was his fault that the war was left to his heir: Aang to deal with when he failed to stop the impending war from Fire Nation. Later - the Moon Spirit returned and told Aang that he haven't lost, and that he will win, and save them all from the wrath of Fire Nation like he has always done and always will - to save people.
In the morning after the storm, Aang is discovered by the gang and crew of the captured Fire Nation ship. They hugged and Aang has decided to take the more practical route of hiding his identity - by making everyone believe that he is gone from the world. Aang goes up to the lava fields and abandons his flying glider. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.230.153.104 (talk) 22:04, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
Wow, Azula looks WAY different when she was in her bed. Keyblade Mage 02:32, 22 September 2007 (UTC) Keyblade Mage
That didn't come out right Keyblade Mage 02:33, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Keyblade Mage
So, do you think this is the start of that blue glider that was seen in the season three preview? Or could it still be possible that the airbender with the glider wasn't REALLY Aang? If he needs to hide in the Fire Nation, he can't let anyone see his arrow. So that guy at the end of the preview CAN'T be Aang. Am I making sense? sonicmaster1223 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.0.124.167 (talk) 02:52, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
No, not really. He doesn't reveal his existance YET. But he has to, eventually. My money's that he'll blow it next episoide. Third one at the latest. Keyblade Mage 04:09, 22 September 2007 (UTC) Keyblade Mage
- Agreed. Not to start a rumor, but I heard from a semi-reliable source that Zuko will hire a bounty hunter to catch Aang in the next couple of episodes in order to save his own skin; Aang's not gonna stay secret for long. 72.23.111.128 00:40, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Arowen Half-Elven
Episode image
[edit]Any ideas for what image to use for the episode? I was thinking maybe one of Aang in the water before Avatar Roku, or one of Katara healing Aang's back. Any other ideas?--Piemanmoo 09:24, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
how about that shot of aang waking up with the fire nation insignia behind him? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.130.151.123 (talk) 13:19, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Any of those I think would be perfect but if I had to choose one it would have to be Aang waking up and noticing the Fire Nation Insignia behind him. Also, a really good screenshot would be Aang shoving his destroyed staff into the molten rock. GeneralIroh (Leave a message after the beep if you gotta problem.) 14:38, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
I will upload the picture of Aang and the Fire Nation Emblem, as well as a picture of Ozai, as this was the first time his face was revealed. AvatarSpirit.net has no screenshots of Aang shoving his staff into the lava: There is one of his staff burning, though. Aang-kai 18:27, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- Done, and I added two images to the article as wellAang-kai 19:17, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
