Factual Error

[edit]

The statement "The audio adaptation of the book is notable as the first time in the entire Star Trek franchise that the famous phrase "Beam me up, Scotty" is uttered in that form." is simply untrue. Several novels and comics have used the phrase long before The Ashes of Eden. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.197.149.12 (talk) 14:00, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Editing Needed

[edit]

This article contains a lot of bizarre grammatical constructions. For example, "the response was positive and wanted to know if a sequel was possible" makes absolutely no sense. Competent editing is required. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.197.149.12 (talk) 03:43, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

[edit]

Still contains form data that has not been replaced with real information. EdJohnston 13:35, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps reducing this down to a stub would be the best solution? shotwell 02:44, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well we shouldn't let something sit around for months with placeholders in it. Has anyone read this book? It might only take a few minutes to fill in the missing details. EdJohnston 03:16, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I meant to delete all of the placeholders, copy-edit the existing content, and call it a stub. shotwell 05:25, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds OK to me. EdJohnston 13:31, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I found some information to fill in and also correct. There were multiple authors, a different publisher for the hardcover edition, etc. Shatner is probably pissed now because he isn't getting all the credit. Do you think the clean-up tag should be removed? shotwell 15:22, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
