Starting first read-through. (This and Eliza Smith to come, if she hasn't been bagged by then. Embarras de richesses!) Tim riley talk 14:05, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That's very good of you. I seem to be building a library of English "cuisine", as the article's title has it. Chiswick Chap (talk) 14:31, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

    • Scott Herritt's "South End" restaurant … serves some recipes from the book. WP:DATED – It may not go on doing so in years to come. Could do with an {{as of|2015|alt=As at 2015}} template.

I raised my eyebrows at finding no mention of Elizabeth David or Dorothy Hartley, but now I look on my shelves, I find the latter doesn't mention Mrs Glasse at all, and the former mentions her only in passing, except as a pioneer of ice-creams. This is a delightful article, and a worthy addition to the small group of GAs on food writers. – Tim riley talk 15:43, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
