Alias 'The Doctor'

[edit]

"My doctorate is purely honorary and Harry is only qualified to work on sailors". Just something to make you smile- actually, I think it needs an article of its own.--Tuzapicabit (talk) 03:19, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Similarity to the movie Alien

[edit]

I think there should be a mention of the widely observed similarities between the Ark In Space and Alien. They are referenced in the Alien_(film) article, with a citation to a respected film studies author having highlighted them. ~~PRL1973 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.188.155.114 (talk) 10:16, 11 May 2012

Sonic Screwdriver

[edit]

This is the first serial of Doctor Who to use the 'laser'ish sound of the sonic screwdriver it would be forever after. Before this, it just made beeping sounds.Nemmex (talk) 11:25, 27 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Title Sequence Colour Tinting

[edit]

Under the Production section in the main article it says this "The title sequence for Part One was tinted green as an experiment, but was not repeated for subsequent episodes. The title sequence would stay constant for the next six years."

I just finished watching all 4 episodes and in actual fact the intros to episodes one, two and three are all tinted differently. Episode 4 is tinted the same as episode 3 though. Episode 1 is more saturated, not green, the yellows are more apparent. Episode 2 is the more green one, and episode 3's intro is silvery-blue. I checked this multiple times. Maybe the article needs updating? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.208.172.175 (talk) 14:20, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
