Perhaps someone knowlegable could ammend this statement:
- "Roughly speaking its politics are to the left of The New Republic and to the right of The Nation."
to indicate to those of us unfamiliar with these publications, where the politcs of "The American Prospect" lie. Is it primarily liberal, conservative or middle of the road?

- I've added a phrase from the magazine's description of itself in the hopes of clarifying its liberalism. The New Republic is a centrist to center-left publication, while The Nation is decidedly leftist (as American politics go, anyway). RadicalSubversiv E 02:14, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
