Casting

[edit]

Xoruz, could you add the sources about the casting opening on October 5, 2023, and closing on December 11, 2023? The Media Expert (talk) 00:38, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. Xoruz (talk) 01:17, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Final leg

[edit]

@Xoruz, please find a source about the final leg filming. The Media Expert (talk) 23:53, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have one, but it’s from a cast member who hasn’t been announced officially. Xoruz (talk) 00:42, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We have posts and photos people took. And people I know talked to them in the airport. Is that ok? Jd101991 (talk) 13:51, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Premiere

[edit]

If the premiere time is unecessary, that's ok. The premiere date is not needed twice though Jd101991 (talk) 13:34, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It is needed twice, per MOS:LEAD: significant information should not appear in the lead if it is not covered in the remainder of the article and Wikipedia:How to create and manage a good lead section: There should not be anything in the lead that does not refer to specific content in the article and is not backed up by specific references found in the article Cerebral726 (talk) 13:43, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's not in any other amazing race pages Jd101991 (talk) 13:45, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Something being wrong in another article does not mean you can force it to be wrong in this one. However, it appears that that information is covered in the race summary section for previous seasons. Since there isn't a full race summary currently since it hasn't been released yet, perhaps we can add it to the top of the race summary section for now. Cerebral726 (talk) 13:53, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well there is a race summary and I have a photo of it, so that's incorrect sadly Jd101991 (talk) 18:56, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There isn't a detailed, leg-by-leg one with dates released and reliable sources currently on the page, I don't need a photo to prove that? You also haven't addressed what I said in any meaningful way. Any reason you think we should disregard the MOS for this article? Cerebral726 (talk) 19:32, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cast

[edit]

Thanks @Xoruz for putting the cast in! Jd101991 (talk) 17:38, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. Xoruz (talk) 17:50, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Assist

[edit]

I like the symbol @Jd101991 used so we should keep that. Stop changing it back everyone. Amazing Race Canada Fan (talk) 22:01, 9 July 2024 (UTC) [reply]

Thanks for the feedback! Jd101991 (talk) 22:02, 9 July 2024 (UTC) [reply]
I just changed it. Looks better now too Jd101991 (talk) 22:04, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Separate legs?

[edit]

Hey, I'm a bit confused that the BC double leg is considered two separate legs. I don't seem to get why - while the show does state that they are two separate legs, there isn't a Pit Stop. I feel like this scenario means that we're forced to count them as one leg, rather than just having the leg abruptly cut off - it feels like a Mega Leg almost. I'm open to criticisms here, but it seems like this is just a case of someone being so adamant about their own style choices rather than the style that we have decided on as suitable for cataloguing the Race. ButI'llBeThereNextTime (talk) 15:18, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

We go by what the show says. Bgsu98 (Talk) 17:58, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The "show" showed Michael & Tyson on episode 5 saying "We won the last two legs". They didn't "win" anything in Vancouver. TheNewLayoutReallySucks (talk) 23:08, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Colin & Matt also say "This leg is not over" when on the way to their flight to Penticton. The show seems to be saying that this is one leg. What is your direct source that it's two legs? TheNewLayoutReallySucks (talk) 03:56, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
