Re-designation of Legs 10 and 11 to three separate legs (Legs 10, 11 and 12)?

[edit]

Given the following at the "midway" point of Leg 10...
1. Jaime and Cara had won a prize (which was not aired).
2. Kisha and Jen were not eliminated at that point for being last and not penalized at all.
3. Teams was told to keep racing and were handed another clue envelope by Phil at that mat.
4. The clue that directed them to the Drum Tower was stated as a "Pit Stop."
5. And TAR 18 has already had two such legs with those characteristics (Legs 1 and 4).

The only differences I see between the "midway" point of original Leg 10 and the "faux"-Pit Stops of TAR 18's Legs 1 and 4 are:
1. No greeter with Phil at the "midway" point of original Leg 10 where the TAR 18 ones had greeters at the mat with Phil.
2. Phil did state "This leg of the race is not over." at the "midway" point, but he didn't say this specifically on either of the TAR 18 legs.

Would it be appropriate to now re-designate Leg 10A (first half) as Leg 10, Leg 10B (second half) as Leg 11 and Leg 11 as Leg 12?

No. Simple reason? At the time of production these superlegs were considered one large leg and was recorded on the CBS official website as so also. With TAR 18, production considered them two seperate legs and are therefore displayed as such 93.96.23.89 (talk) 11:26, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The 2nd column of "Leg 10" should be Leg 11 and "Leg 11" should be Leg 12 since:

A. The same team member could perform both roadblocks.
B. Phil says at the Final Roadblock prior 11 legs (excluding the last leg).
C. TAR Canada host Jon Montgomery uses the same "this leg is not over" and they are still considered separate legs.
D. Although not aired Jaime and Cara got a prize for winning the leg not leading midway.
E. Retroactively they are considered separate legs as of Season 18.

As for there being no greeter Season 13 didn't have a greeter at one of the Pitstops does that mean that leg wasn't over either? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.196.23.37 (talk) 22:48, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Amazing Race 18 Results

[edit]

Since the Amazing Race 18 is yet to air in most other countries in the world, PLEASE stop writing the results of that race on this page. It is not relevant to the information on this page. If people want to see the results of that race they can visit that page. We did not write race results for All-Stars on season 1-10's pages. Saying they competed in Unfinished Business with a link to that series is fine. 93.96.23.89 (talk) 11:23, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
