The current page is substantially out of date. I propose to update it by correcting factual inaccuracies, removing irrelevant information and fixing broken links and references. The intention is that the page will be substantially shorter since most of the ephemeral information is available on the schools own website or the Ofstead (Office for Standards in Education) website. The history of the school could be better represented with a list or lists in date order including:
- Headteachers and their appointment dates
- Major developments to the school infrastructure and dates (these are not on the schools website)
- Changes to the school governance and status
In particular the information about drug testing should be reduced in prominence, since it is more about the pilot drugs testing programme nationally than about the school. Perhaps "The school participated in a pilot programme of random drug testing (ref 4) that started in 2004 (ref 5) and was nationally abandoned in 2008 (ref 9)."
Under "Property", the information about vocational students running the canteen is out of date. The nursery is no longer part of the school - need to check its name.
I have looked at other UK examples of school pages, there is little consistency in structure. However most are much shorter unless the school is historically important. Are there any guidelines or good examples. John27813kent (talk) 22:00, 18 December 2018 (UTC)

[edit]As per the above image request template, I have added a commons category and an image to the article. However we don't yet have images which do justice to the school buildings, so I have left the reqfoto template in place. Storye book (talk) 21:01, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
