Recent revert (13 March 2018)
[edit]Hello. I am rather confused. A recent blanket reversion to this page also removed an a copyedit I made. Could you please explain to me which parts of my edit relate to "We need sources, not more unsourced claims?"? Thank you. JabberJaw (talk) 11:19, 13 March 2018 (UTC)
- None but since the stuff is unsourced caste puffery anyway, no harm done. This article will be stubbed in a few days unless sources turn up. - Sitush (talk) 11:45, 13 March 2018 (UTC)
moving questioned text here
[edit]Ekoji, the founder of the kingdom, continued the use of Telugu as a court language. However, compared to the Nayaka-era works, the Telugu language works composed under the Thanjavur Maratha patronage are of inferior quality. The Tamil language works produced during this period are not of the highest quality either. The most notable literary works composed under their patronage were written in Sanskrit and Marathi languages.[1]

Sorry if I am misunderstanding something here. But the above seems to be a value judgment based on ethnicity that is either unsupported or at at best whose sources are unlikely to support making such strong blanket statements. Can go back in in any version that someone is willing to vouch for. Elinruby (talk) 03:16, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
