The film is still running in Ahmedabad and North India. Someone has intentionally put it as a box office bomb with a maligned intention — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eggmuruku (talkcontribs) 03:27, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 10 September 2024 : Update box office collection

[edit]

Latest collection figures stand at 100 crore, so change the gross from "68 crore" to gross = ₹100 crore[1][2][3]

Also, the following page shows the latest box office figure as "₹144 crore". If this is the updated value after the Hindi collections, please remove old box office numbers and change "68 crore" to "144 crore".

Indian express rating

[edit]

The link says Indian express rating is 3 out of 5 but in the article, it is changed to 2 out of 5. This is to be corrected — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eggmuruku (talkcontribs) 03:22, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The second reference is quoted incorrectly! The linked website mentions the film's producer describing this as a "100 crore film", not a "130 crore film" as this note is currently present.

Vandalism

[edit]

Thangalaan is running successfully in the Hindi markets now, with increased screens in the second week. [1] [2] [3]

Yet, a few users are hellbent in maligning this page with false box office reports and calling the film a huge box office bomb. Today, one went so far as mentioning the link [4] to this Thanglaan page, while Thangalaan does not even exist in that link. This page [5] has a list of all time box office bombs with at least 100 million dollars in loss, while Thangalaan's entire budget is not close to this. Also, this edit by [6] falsely mentioned that 88 crore dollars was Thangalaan's loss. You can clearly see that the recent edits were done with an intention to remove the real box office figures and replace with old figures from two weeks ago. [7]. The link added was for the second weekend (last month!) [8]. The links removed were for recent figures.

Another previously linked source is also dubious in veracity, as it claims similar collections (71 crore) for the 24th day, as the 14th day (68 crore) [9].

As a recent user, I do not have power to report such transgressions of neutrality to the moderators. Please have a look at this user (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Encyclopedia_Of_Knowledge101), if you have the authority and take the necessary actions to stop this vandalism. 笑い男~enwiki A Zen drifter has no attachments to anything, even human.
