Nuclei of the thalamus illustration
The illustration of the nuclei of the thalamus could be clarified. As it stands, the illustration is somewhat ambiguous as to the position of the VPM. It could mislead readers into thinking that the VPM lies anterior to the VPL. As the names imply, the VPM is medial to the VPL. That is, the VPM lies in the medulla (core) of the thalamus, whilst the VPL lies in the cortex (i.e. on and under its surface).Darren.reynolds (talk) 15:14, 17 November 2017 (UTC)
