Notability

I don't think the refs demonstrate notability. The findagrave one looks like obituary, and it is hard to tell who wrote it. It appears unable to confirm importance of this artist. I'm hesitant to nominate this for deletion. It seems there was a lot of work that has gone into this article. However if there aren't better sources showing his paintings as famous...
