Tracklist

[edit]

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE change the producers of "She will and It's good". noah "40" shebib produced she will and Boi-1da produced it's good. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.177.81.60 (talk) 22:32, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Many, many sources have listed this as the confirmed tracklist, but they weren't reliable sources. Complex.com said it was rumored.[1] Could we put it under tracklist saying "This tracklist is currently rumored."

Here's the reliable sources I got: http://www.complex.com/music/2011/04/tracklist-lil-wayne-tha-carter-iv and http://rapdose.com/2011/04/14/lil-waynes-tha-carter-4-tracklist-confirms-features-and-more

MackMaine confirmed it wasn't final [2](http://www.rap-up.com/2011/04/22/lil-wayne-moves-tha-carter-iv-release-date-preps-lollipop-successor/), but he never said those tracks weren't on it.

It says No ID produced President Carter when he didn't... It was Produced By Angel "OnHel" Aponte, Christopher Allen, Infamous

'John' samples Ross' track

[edit]

the above statement is wrong, the hook is actually different, Ross just reused the lyircs for this track 89.37.192.199 (talk) 22:37, 22 May 2011 (UTC) b[reply]

Dear Anne

Blow My Brainz

[edit]

What happened to the supposed "Lollipop" ancestor track that was supposed to be titled "Blow My Brainz" or "She's In My Head"? Isn't it supposed to come out on July 4, 2011? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.31.176.229 (talk) 23:08, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

XXL magazine said that we would receive a new single on July 4, but they aren't a reliable source after they said How to Love was produced by T-Pain and supposed to be the intro song for the album -Sportzfr3ak — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sportzfr3ak (talkcontribs) 21:03, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry For The Wait

[edit]

I understand this isn't the mixtape page, but does anyone have any sources or any idea when Lil Wayne's Sorry For The Wait mixtape will drop? He said two or three weeks ago that it would drop anytime around now... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.28.116.176 (talk) 19:18, 5 July 2011 (UTC) Your right — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.160.131.173 (talk) 00:02, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

It was Dear Anne. It was released as part of swizz beatz monstermondays on monday, july 4th. So there was a july 4th lil wayne single just not off of Tha Carter 4. It also came with its own cover art. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:PgSvNyG1oCEJ:swizzworld.com/living/therealswizzz-presents-monstermondays-lil-wayne-dear-anne-pt-1/+dear+anne+monstermondays&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&source=www.google.com

The current tracklist?

[edit]

There's no way that's real, the names of the songs don't even make sense! And funny how the writing and production credits are stated nowhere else besides Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.206.146.140 (talk) 21:33, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A few things

[edit]

The track "Mirrors" is just actually "Mirror" and iTunes added another Deluxe track "Up Up and Away" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.72.211.216 (talk) 04:15, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

leaked

[edit]

im 99% sure that the album leaked because ive heard leaked tracks that are unique to c4 with lil wayne saying carter four in them and based on comments on several torrents for the leaked album it is legit 69.205.188.218 (talk) 04:32, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy Section

[edit]

Please remove the contoversy section on this page, as i do not believe it is relevent to this page. If this so called "Rivalry" with Jay-Z has any substantial evidence to it, it should be put on the controversy section on Lil Waynes Main wiki page. Thank You--144.131.22.197 (talk) 08:27, 26 August 2011 (UTC)Lachie Bennett- Lewis[reply]

[edit]

| title13 = President Carter | writer13 = Carter, A. Aponte, M. Rodriguez | extra13 = Infamous | length13 = 4:15

should be replaced with

| title13 = President Carter | writer13 = Carter, A. Aponte, M. Rodriguez | extra13 = Angel "OnHel" Aponte, Christopher Allen, Infamous | length13 = 4:15

Please change because it only has "infamous" on the producer part of it.... Wiki has Angel "OnHel" Aponte and Christopher Allen on the credits section but not in the column... also another reliable source is http://allmusic.com/album/tha-carter-iv-r1972595/credits Sorry if I did anything wrong. I am new at this...

1 song devide in 3 parts

[edit]

Previously (Tha Carter III)it was said that Lil' wayne planned to devide the song 'A Milli' in three parts, which he now did in Tha Carter IV with intro, interlude and outro - shouldn't this be mentioned? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.110.48.224 (talk) 05:38, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Achievements/Records

[edit]

There needs to be an Achievements section. The album broke the iTunes first-week album sales record in four days. http://eon.businesswire.com/news/eon/20110902005583/en "Lil Wayne remains unstoppable with his hotly anticipated, critically-acclaimed new album for Cash Money Records/Universal Republic Records, THA CARTER IV, breaking the iTunes record for first-week U.S. album sales in only four days with over 300,000 units sold. Lil Wayne breaks the record set only two weeks ago by Jay-Z and Kanye West’s "Watch The Throne," and held by Coldplay before that." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thankmelater18 (talkcontribs) 04:04, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think more information should be put in about its 3 1/2 recording period. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.131.22.197 (talk) 07:27, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
