Ponzi scheme?

[edit]

Does this really need a link at the bottom to a List of Ponzi schemes? Just because someone compared the TTF to a Ponzi scheme doesn't mean it is.Apollo883 (talk) 21:52, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It has all the markings of a Ponzi scheme: The fund is kept afloat the by the contributions of its newest members, who receive little or no benefit in comparison to early holders. It's rather relevant IMO, and it's been referred to as a Ponzi scheme by someone who should know the difference. Brianko (talk) 01:07, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No reference exists on this page or the one you have linked to stating that it is a Ponzi scheme. Without such, no justification exists for adding this link. It also does not fit as a Ponzi scheme because the intention of the fund is not to defraud those who invested in it.Apollo883 (talk) 19:36, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
