Merge proposal

[edit]

Both articles Texas Pete 200 and Texas Pete 300 should be merged since they are duplicate pages about the same topic, an Xfinity Series race event at the Orange County Speedway, just with different sponsorship/name. The consistency of all other NASCAR races articles have the same race at the same track venue under the same article, so for consistency, both pages should be merged. There aren't the same. The only similarities are that they both sponsored by Texas Pete and they both take place in the same venue. Apart from that, the differences are that they were held in separate years, the distances each rally cover are different, different laps too. They had different competitors, different price money, different outcomes, different social receptions. The data each page have the capacity to cover is enormous. It is still in a stub state, help me expand it. Gracefoundme (talk) 20:43, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No. I'm noting that 200 is differs from 300. Don't merge anyway. MYSKaoi (talk) 11:00, 26 October 2024 (UTC) MYSKaoi (talk · contribs) is currently under sockpuppet investigation. Happily888 (talk) 01:20, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@MYSKaoi The mileage of the race was expanded from the 200 to 300 but the race is still the same...That happened with multiple other races like: Texas and Atlanta Cup races were 500 miles and then became 400 miles and they still are under the same article.
