Sources for name due to similarity to five pointed star

Here are two sources for the name of the molecule being related to the shape:

"...Sessler, on the other hand, designed his Texaphyrin, for which a patent is pending, in the shape of a two-dimensional Frisbee with a five-point Lone Star in the middle of it."[1]

And wouldn't this be shaped like any regular, five pointed star, such as those on the US Flag, or even on the flag of the former USSR or that of Communist China? 69.29.207.109 (talk) 02:07, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
