WP:MilHist Assessment
[edit]Clean-up needed. The introduction includes the kanji and birth-death dates, which is good, but little else. He was a soldier and a politician; alright, but why is he important or notable or interesting? Why do we know of him? Second, the military career section is just a string of dates and posts. Convert this into a prose paragraph and discuss, in full prose sentences, the actual battles he fought in or political events during his life. A string of posts and dates is ugly, confusing to look at, and all but meaningless to the average reader. This article also needs references, and, for extra bonus credit, a picture, see also section, and external links. LordAmeth 13:03, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
