Why not bend the arms to the left so that it doesn't look like a swastika?
[edit]Sagittarian Milky Way (talk) 07:57, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
- Because the result would still be a swastika! (卍 or 卐.)
- Because then they couldn't call it nazinonane? -A876 (talk) 23:27, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
- At least it could look like one of the Indian swastikas instead of the Nazi one.
- I didn't see that, it was fake anyway. Sagittarian Milky Way (talk) 12:02, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
- Then why not a L-R-L-R pattern? Then it is even less like a swastika, and then the hydrocarbon wouldn't be illegal. Alfa-ketosav (talk) 10:43, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
Why not use its IUPAC name
[edit]This one has an IUPAC name of 3,3-Diethylpentane. Why don't we use that name instead of Tetraethyl methane?
