[edit]@Second Skin: State reasons (please be patient with responds from me):
- 1) it does not at all say "deathgrind" in the source for the album at all, no idea what you're talking about but okay.
- 2) "brutal death metal" has been discussed endlessly on Wikipedia. It has been decided it's not a valid or existent genre long ago. Second Skin (talk) 11:10, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- Check the sources, all of them say their respective genres. Check the page. The Exclaim! source says that it has deathgrind throughout the record. And the basis on removing brutal death metal is that you say it doesn’t exist, while there are big amounts of sources that say the opposite. Please read throughly. ~SML • TP 11:08, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- No it doesn't. The Exclaim article is for something else entire... didn't you even read it? It says "deathgrind" a single time on the page and that was for their OTHER album, The Necro Manifesto, not this album. Nowhere in any reference to TerrorVision does it say "deathgrind". Second Skin (talk) 11:13, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- Read it’s second paragraph. But I can assure you, it does say it, otherwise I wouldn’t have added it. ~SML • TP 11:15, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- @Sergecross73: Please be a neutral third party. ~SML • TP 11:18, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- I can, but have you guys already come to an agreement now? Sergecross73 msg me 12:25, 12 December 2018 (UTC)

Nevertheless, it is redundant to have both "death metal" and "brutal death metal" as two separate things noted in the infobox, even if "brutal death metal" is supposed to be noted on Wikipedia. I just asked a longtime contributor who is a veteran in the "brtual death metal" inclusive debate on here from long ago to look into this... and yeah, you should read the guidelines for musical infoboxes, which clearly state that subgenres of other genres are unnecessary. Second Skin (talk) 11:20, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- Read here: "Aim for generality (e.g. Hip hop rather than East Coast hip hop) and preferably use two to four."
- How is adding "death metal, brutal death metal, deathgrind" adhering to this point in the guideline at all??? Second Skin (talk) 11:26, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- Fine, you could delete brutal death metal, but deathgrind can’t. ~SML • TP 11:30, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- In my personal view, Aborted is not "deathgrind" at all (nor do I even see "deathgrind" as a genre, because it's just a amalgamation of death metal and grindcore and not a unique sound or style at all). But yeah... my bad for not seeing the bit in the review which erroneously called Aborted "death-grind mainstays" Second Skin (talk) 11:35, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
