Teresa Weatherspoon is no longer with the L.A. Sparks; I confirmed this by telephoning their office a few weeks ago, but their public relations person professed not to know what had happened with her. Her name is also no longer listed on www.wnba.com/players/. Yet I have not been able to find any news of her since the end of last season, nor report of any WNBA transaction ending her contract (see www.wnba.com/transactions/WNBA_2005.html, which would normally list any such occurrence). Any reliable information on her current status or whereabouts would be greatly appreciated by this long-time, ardent fan of hers. DSatz 10:59, July 20, 2005 (UTC)
