I found this article very US-based. There is some good generic information but there are many references to what you can and can't do according to US regulations. I'm not sure if the title needs changing or if it needs to be structured differently. Dariomur (talk) 13:21, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- Agreed, this is very specific to US screening. Although, understanding the industry a bit, there are not a lot of screening resources available internationally. It's something that needs to happen for landlords outside of the US. Locu (talk) 20:27, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
Agree with above. This article is based around US regulations etc. Only partially relevant or useful for Australia.
7 year lookback
[edit]The article briefly touches that some states only allow a 7 year lookback period for criminal offenses. It would be useful to cite a source, and ideally elaborate on which states impose this limit. Everything I've been able to identify providing this resource are tenant screening company blogs, nothing truly citable. Locu (talk) 20:26, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
