Misreading 60 for 7 stade
[edit]According to https://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/how-a-chatty-motorist-led-to-one-of-the-biggest-finds-in-greek-archaeology/, Strabo appears to have correctly written that the temple was 60 stade from Eretria but that monks misread the value. The article credits Denis Knoepfler (and a local motorist) with discovering the location. We should also include the article that is in Archaeology magazine: https://archaeology.org/issues/september-october-2024/features/hunting-for-the-lost-temple-of-artemis/ Kdammers (talk) 00:55, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
