... that the name comes from the Knights Templar order? This suburb is very much a modern construct (built 1947), and was most likely named from a geographical feature. The connection with the Knights is at St Johns Jerusalem on the opposite side of Dartford. Peter Shearan 09:12, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
