Fair use rationale for Image:TeliaSonera logo.png

[edit]

Image:TeliaSonera logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:00, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ma Bell ???

[edit]

What is Ma Bell doing here, outside North America? Can someone clean this up, or clarify? Samfreed (talk) 14:35, 11 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ipod & IPhone template

[edit]

Why has this article the mentioned template attached? simon —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.211.194.132 (talk) 00:07, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Probably because they provide Iphone subscription. It could of course be questioned if this is a suitable way of using the template, but checking which articles use the template, Telia is not the only operator where this template is in use. So I'm not sure if it should stay or go. Tomas e (talk) 08:39, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Finnish perspective?

[edit]

This article is written as if though the company is Swedish, there is no information about the company called Sonera, the privatized former Finnish national tele company. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.50.70.5 (talk) 22:47, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

TeliaSonera is Swedish and it has simply absorbed Sonera through a merger. In Finland "Sonera" desperatly tries to maintain its Finnish identity by deliberately hiding this fact and not using the company's real name in advertising, which is misleading in other aspects as well. The company's customer service is also the worst in the whole world and they cheat their customers every chance they get. --77.109.215.4 (talk) 15:40, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
